Mission: SPIRIT strives to meet the 21st Century transportation challenges that face our states, counties, and communities to improve and expand rural areas, and to enhance the movement of people, products, and services in a safe, timely, and cost-efficient manner.

SPIRIT is a coalition of individuals, local governments, civic groups, and businesses who have banded together to promote the improvement of US Highway 54. Anyone interested in promoting safety, commerce, efficiency, and travel is encouraged to become a member.
